Where does light come from?

How Light Is Created💡

Light is produced when energy is emitted as electromagnetic waves.

One of the main mechanisms behind this is the “change in the energy of electrons” within atoms.

When an electron absorbs energy from an external source, it may move to a higher energy state.

Then, when the electron returns to a lower energy state, the difference in energy may be emitted as a “photon.”

This “photon” is a particle that makes up light, and a photon is “energy” emitted as an electromagnetic wave.

Light Carries Not Only Energy but Also “Information”

[Fiber-Optic Communications, Wireless Communications, and Astronomical Observations]

An important property of light is that it not only carries energy but also transmits information.

For example, fiber-optic communications transmit vast amounts of information by changing the intensity or state of light.

Smartphones and wireless communications also use technologies that encode information onto electromagnetic waves.

Furthermore, light reaching us from distant space contains information that can tell us about the temperature and chemical composition of stars.

Astronomers analyze this light to study the properties of stars and galaxies that cannot be visited directly.

In other words, light can carry both energy and information across vast distances.

Our Bodies Also Produce Light (Key Point)

What is interesting here is that our bodies, too, are made up of atoms and electrons.

Chemical reactions are constantly taking place in the body, changing the energy states of electrons and molecules.

In fact, it is known that the human body emits extremely faint light, called “ultraweak photon emission,” as a result of chemical reactions associated with metabolism and other processes.

This light is so faint that it cannot be seen with the naked eye, but it can be detected with specialized equipment.

In other words, our bodies are equipped with the substances and mechanisms needed to produce light, and light is actually generated within the body.

And because light can carry energy and information and affect other substances, it can produce similar effects between people who are far apart.

Light is not produced only by the sun and stars far away.

We, too, emit light as part of our life processes.

These phenomena can be regarded as scientific evidence for things that have until now remained unexplained and been viewed as spiritual.
